Advanced Modeling AMC72027-1 RBK-500 AO 2,5RTM 500 kg Cluster Bomb loaded with Fragmentation Submunitions set

The RBK-500 is a Soviet, and currently Russian, free-fall cluster bomb from the Cold War and modern times. The bomb, in the RBK-500U version, is 250 cm long, with a diameter of 45 centimeters and weighing from 500 to 525 kilograms. The RBK-500 family of cluster bombs was developed primarily in order to effectively destroy the enemy's manpower, but also to destroy his armored vehicles. Bombs from this family are able to carry various types of subammunition designed to destroy these two above-mentioned types of targets. AO-10 fragmentation projectiles (bombs) are often used as sub-ammunition, which can be placed up to 30 pieces in the RBK-500-375 AO-10 bomb. On the other hand, the RBK-500 PTAB-1M version carries up to 268 small-weight PTAB-1M anti-tank missiles (bombs). It is worth noting that the latest version of the presented cluster bomb, i.e. the RBK-500U, can also carry the AO-25RT fragmentation bombs or the OFAB-50 fragmentation bombs as sub-missiles. The bombs from the RBK-500 family can be carried by many Soviet and later Russian-made aircraft, including the MiG-21, MiG-27, MiG-29, Su-17 or Su-25.
